1050/1050A aluminum sheet coil is a high-purity aluminum alloy with an aluminum content of more than 99.5%. It is known for its excellent corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity. In automobile manufacturing, it is mainly used for parts that do not require high strength but require good thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, corrosion resistance and formability. Despite its low mechanical strength, 1050/1050A aluminum alloy can still play an important role in specific applications.
The common states of 1050/1050A aluminum alloy are O, H14, H24, usually supplied in the form of aluminum plates or aluminum coils.

◆ High purity: Aluminum content is as high as 99.5% or more, with good electrical and thermal conductivity.
◆ Excellent corrosion resistance: Excellent corrosion resistance in atmospheric and water environments.
◆ Good formability: Easy to cold work and form, suitable for various processing techniques.
◆ High reflectivity: The surface has high reflectivity, suitable for reflective parts.
◆ Low strength: Low mechanical strength, not suitable for structural parts with high strength requirements.
◆ Recyclable: 100% recyclable, in line with environmental protection and energy saving requirements.
Although 1050/1050A aluminum alloy has low mechanical strength, its excellent other properties make it still have some specific applications in automobile manufacturing.
Radiators and Heat Exchangers: Taking advantage of its good thermal conductivity, 1050/1050A aluminum sheets are often used to manufacture automotive radiators and heat exchangers.
Heat Shields: 1050/1050A embossed aluminum sheets are often used for heat shields in engine and exhaust systems to reflect heat and protect other components.
Cable Sheaths and Connectors: Due to its excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance, 1050 aluminum alloy is suitable for electrical components such as cable sheaths and connectors.
Non-load-bearing Coverings: Used to manufacture some non-load-bearing body coverings, such as decorative panels and interior trims.
Headlight Reflectors: Taking advantage of its high reflectivity, 1050 aluminum alloy is suitable for manufacturing headlight reflectors to improve light efficiency.
