2024 Aluminum sheet plate is a typical hard aluminum alloy in the aluminum-copper-magnesium series. Its composition is relatively reasonable, comprehensive performance is good, and is the largest amount of hard aluminum. 2024 Aluminum plate has high strength, certain heat resistance, and can be used as working parts below 150°C. At temperatures above 125°C, the strength of the 2024 alloy is higher than that of the 7075 alloy. The formability is better in the hot temper, annealed and new quenched temper, and the strengthening effect of heat treatment is remarkable, but the heat treatment process is strict.
