3003 H24 aluminum plate VS 3003 H14 aluminum plate

3003 aluminum plate is also known as 3003 anti rust aluminum plate, is a typical Al Mn alloy. The aluminum content accounts for about 98% and the manganese content is about 1.0-1.6. The strength of 3003 aluminum plate is higher than that of 1060 aluminum plate. 3003 aluminum plate has excellent corrosion resistance, weldability, processability and strength. Differences between 3003 H24 aluminum plate and 3003 H14 aluminum plate

The hardness of aluminum plate is affected by many factors, such as the alloy composition of aluminum plate, cold working treatment method, natural aging time, etc. “H” indicates the cold working hardening condition, while the subsequent numbers indicate different degrees and types of cold working hardening.

• 3003 H24 aluminum plate is a cold working hardened temper after incomplete annealing. The last step of product processing is heat treatment, which results in a product with low hardness and high tensile strength. 3003 H24 aluminum plate is suitable for manufacturing high strength structural parts such as aircraft, ships, automobiles, etc.
• 3003 H14 aluminum plate is a pure cold working hardened temper, which means that the final cold rolled product does not have any additional heat treatment. This state provides relatively high hardness, strength and tensile strength, but low ductility. 3003 H14 aluminum plate is suitable for manufacturing various formed parts such as fuel tanks, pipes, covers, etc.
