✅ 1. Forming performance

* 5052 aluminum plate alloy has good hot process plasticity. During the process, its forging and die forging temperature is about 420 ~ 475℃. This temperature range can be 80% hot deformation.

* 5052 aluminum plate alloy cold stamping performance is related to the alloy state. The cold stamping performance of annealed state is good, and the H32 and H34 tempers are reduced. The cold stamping performance is not good in the H36/H38 state.

✅ 2. Welding performance

* 5052 aluminum alloy has good resistance welding, gas welding, arc welding, spot welding and seam welding performance. It has a tendency of crystallization cracks during argon arc welding, while brazing performance is good and soldering performance is poor, so pay attention to the welding type to avoid failing to meet the required standards.

* 5052 aluminum plate weld has high strength and plasticity. The weld strength can reach about 90%~95% of the base metal strength, but the weld air tightness is not high. It is generally recommended to use 5A03 alloy as solder because it can improve air tightness and eliminate crack tendency.

* 5052 aluminum plate has poor machinability in the annealing state, but it will improve in the cold hardening state, so be sure to pay attention to the oxidation changes in different tempers.
