6005 Aluminum Sheet Plate

6005 Aluminum sheet plate belongs to Al-Mg-Si alloy, which has medium strength, good plasticity, corrosion resistance, weldability and formability, and excellent comprehensive performance. 6005 Aluminum plate is a kind of anti-rust aluminum widely used. This alloy has a wide range of applications, especially in the construction industry. It is a promising alloy, cannot be strengthened by heat treatment and can be polished.

6005 Aluminum plate has similar properties to 6106 and 6082 aluminum alloys and is sometimes used interchangeably with them, but 6005/6005A has better extrudability. • 6005 Aluminum alloy cannot be strengthened by heat treatment. The plasticity is good during semi-cold work hardening, the plasticity is low when cold work hardening, the machinability is poor, and it can be polished, good cold workability.
