Hot-rolled aluminum plates are cast from aluminum ingots into slabs with a thickness of 300-500mm, rolled above the recrystallization temperature, and rolled to various thicknesses on hot rolling equipment after heating. Hot-rolled aluminum plates have good surface quality, high corrosion resistance and fatigue resistance, strong plasticity, strong mechanical properties and ductility, and good oxidation effect.
Hot-rolled aluminum plates are processed tissues that have undergone more than 90% thermal deformation. During the large plastic deformation process, the internal tissue has undergone multiple recovery and recrystallization, breaking the coarse grains in the casting state and healing the micro cracks, so that the blanks have significantly improved the casting defects such as the homogenization of the internal tissue, the size and shape of the grains, and the changes in the concentration of point defects and line defects, so that the cast tissue is transformed into a deformed tissue, which greatly improves the processing performance of the metal. Especially in terms of deep drawing performance, hot-rolled materials have incomparable advantages over cast-rolled materials.
The hot-rolled aluminum plates produced by Flait Aluminum not only have smoother and flatter surfaces, better deep drawing and oxidation effects, but also have a finished width of up to 2650mm. Hot-rolled aluminum plates are widely used in wide curtain wall panels, automobiles, ships, busbars, silos, stampings, molds and other fields.
Hot-rolled thick plates refer to aluminum alloy plates with a thickness of not less than 6.0mm. The main varieties are hot-rolled plates (H112), annealed plates (0), quenched or quenched pre-stretched plates, etc. Hot-rolled thick plates are usually produced by the block sheet method on hot rolling mills. The typical process flow is: ingot homogenization – milling – heating – hot rolling – fixed length shearing – straightening.
Aluminum and aluminum alloy plates with a thickness of less than 6.00mm are usually produced by hot-rolled coils, such as 1060, 2A12, 2024, 3003, 3004, 5052, 5083, 5182, 6061, 6063, 7075 and other aluminum coils. The product is mainly used as cold-rolled billet and also used to produce sheets. The production process is: ingot milling – heating (heating and heating integration) – hot rough rolling – hot finishing rolling – unloading.
