Glass fiber coated polyimide film copper (aluminum) wire is a winding wire made by coating a polyimide film with adhesive material, wrapping it on a high-quality copper/aluminum conductor, and baking it to make the films and the conductors bonded together, then wrapped with a glass fiber wrapped composite insulation layer. The conductor shape can be divided into rectangular wire and round wire. Glass fiber coated polyimide film copper (aluminum) wire has voltage breakdown resistance and temperature resistance classes are 130, 155, 180, and 200.

Glass fiber coated polyimide film copper (aluminum) wire is widely used in windings of large and medium-sized high-voltage motors, special motors and electrical windings, dry-type transformers, reactors, wind turbines, and rail transit. It has excellent electrical properties and high mechanical properties and moisture and heat resistance.

After the glass fiber coated film wire is bent on the round rod with the diameter specified in the table, the wrapping layer should not be cracked to expose the film. Single glass fiber coated film wire is not evaluated.
