Nomex paper-covered wire (copper, aluminum) is a wire made of oxygen-free rods or electrical round aluminum rods that are extruded or drawn and annealed by a die of the required specifications, and then wrapped with one or more layers of NOMEX insulating paper on the copper (aluminum) conductor.
NOMEX paper-covered wire has high electrical strength, good mechanical toughness and flexibility, resilience, flexibility, cold resistance, moisture resistance, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, chemical compatibility, and will not be destroyed by insects and mold. When the temperature of NOMEX paper-covered wire is not higher than 200℃, the electrical and mechanical properties of NOMEX paper-covered wire are basically unaffected, even if it is continuously exposed to a high temperature of 220℃. Reduce costs, reduce size, and reduce weight
The temperature rise of transformers insulated with NOMEX products can be designed to be up to 180℃, requiring relatively few wires and iron cores, which can reduce size and weight, thereby reducing infrastructure costs and facilitating installation. Smaller iron cores also mean less no-load losses;
The transformer winding uses NOMEX paper covered wire, which maintains excellent electrical and mechanical properties throughout the service life of the transformer. NOMEX paper is resistant to shrinkage and compression, has good elasticity and is not prone to aging. It has good thermal shock resistance, so it can ensure that the transformer coil structure is tight and will not crack. In addition, NOMEX insulation paper is not sensitive to temperature and dust, which improves the reliability of the transformer.

When designing the transformer, the C-level 220℃ insulation material is used as the H-level 180℃, which can cope with emergency overloads and unexpected expansions, which can greatly reduce the backup plan.
