3105 H24 aluminum sheet is a series of aluminum-magnesium-manganese alloys with an aluminum content of 98%. It is stronger than 1100 and 3003 alloys due to the addition of small amounts of additives to improve strength. It cannot be hardened by heat treatment and has good corrosion resistance, formability and weldability.
3105 aluminum sheet is suitable for a variety of painted applications such as the construction industry, packaging industry and home appliances and lamps. Typical applications include general sheet metal processing, residential siding, mobile homes and sign making that require strength higher than 1000 series aluminum alloys.
◆Rust resistance and corrosion resistance
3105 aluminum sheet has good rust resistance and is suitable for use in humid or corrosive environments. It has strong resistance to stress corrosion cracking and can maintain stability under a variety of conditions.
◆Mechanical properties
3105 aluminum sheet has high tensile strength and yield strength, suitable for bearing certain mechanical loads. In the annealed state (H24), 3105 aluminum sheet exhibits high plasticity and is easy to process and form.
◆Conductive properties
The aluminum content of 3105 aluminum plate is as high as 98%, and about 0.3% of copper is added, making its conductivity reach 44%.
◆Processing properties
3105 aluminum plate can improve its mechanical properties through cold processing, but is not suitable for heat treatment strengthening. It has strong plasticity and is suitable for a variety of processing methods, including arc welding, gas welding and spot welding.
According to the standard requirements of ASTM B209 and ASME SB209, the properties of 3105 aluminum plate strain hardened and partially annealed H24 temper (semi-hard) are as follows:
